This is the research I did on the logos aimed at 5-10 year old school going children. I could hve done it straight from internet to photohop and printed it off, but I traced them all as that was i got a good chance to observe them closely, the colours used, the typefaces, and the style. ALmost all the logos aimed at this target audience have a srt of motion in them, they use really bright colours, mostly primary and complementary colours. You can actually tell which of them are aimed at just 5-10 year old and which of them are general, for example, the Nintendo logo is quite bring and you can tell straight away that it’s not designed specifically for 5-10 year olds, the Early Learning Cantre one, may be is aimed more at mums, as usually mums do shopping for early learning of kids. I think this research has been really helpful as to understand what sort of graphics are used to attract my target audience.Sunday, 20 December 2009
